Nik Perring is an author. He lives in Cheshire where he writes, mostly, short stories - which have been published widely, in the UK and abroad, on-line and in print, read on the radio, printed on fliers and used in a distance learning creative writing course for US high school students.

He likes fountain pens, the autumn and writing down the things he makes up.

His debut collection of short, short stories, Not So Perfect, is published by Roast Books and out now

Nik's also the author of the children's book, I Met a Roman Last Night, What Did You Do?.
